Frequently Asked Questions
1. May a player play sober (i.e. be a non-drinker)? a. Absolutely. We have several sober players in the league. However, to qualify as a sober player, you may not drink before, during, or after play. This is to prevent someone from trying to play sober to win and then party after.
2. May a player who is drinking drink something other than beer during play? a. Absolutely not! We are the Nocturnal Barley Golf Association. If you're not drinking beer, you don't drink. If you want to start your own Frou-Frou Drink Golf Association with your girley mixed drinks, then go right ahead, you Nancy.
3. What about after the game and during the 19th hole. Can I have something other than beer then? a. Yes. After game play, you may drink what you want. Just be sure to abide by rule #5.
4. Does a sober player get any special considerations? NO! NO! NO! They still need to pay their green's fee and participate in duels. They may, however, use any carbonated beverage during a duel.
